Food Server

Pedros started out on a shoestring budget in the town of Los Gatos on November 29, 1972. A twelve-table restaurant which developed an immediate following, allowing two full expansions. Two years of planning were devoted to the second unit Santa Clara, which opened its doors on May 13, 1980. Pedros Restaurant has been the result of hard work and devotion. 40 years later Pedro's remains one of the Bay Area's best Mexican restaurants offering authentic flavors from Mexico, warm hospitality, and a family friendly environment for any occasion.

Pedros Restaurant is hiring dedicated, responsible, and goal orientated individuals to work in a fast paced, high-volume restaurant. We are searching for talented people who are enthusiastic about providing superior customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Takes guests food and drink orders, and relay orders to the kitchen.
Check patrons identification to confirm they meet the legal age for any alcoholic beverages.
Periodically check with guests to ensure they are enjoying their meals/drinks and correct any issues, if any, as soon as possible.
Collect payment from guests, give change if needed.
Upsell food and alcoholic beverages by suggesting pairings or recommending favorites.
Present bill to guests, making sure all food/drink items are correct.
Remove dishes and glasses from tables and bring them back to the kitchen for cleaning.
Performing opening and closing side-works as required.
